Selected Databases for Business Administration

  • ABI Complete - A ProQuest database covers a wide range of popular academic subjects related to business. This database includes around 5000 journals, with over 3,900 full-text. It includes thousands of full-text journals, dissertations, working papers, key newspapers as well as country-and industry-focused reports and data.
  • Academic Search Complete - An EBSCOhost database contains indexing and abstracts for more than 8,500 journals. This multi-disciplinary database provides full text for more than 4,600 journals, including full text for nearly 3,900 peer-reviewed titles. PDF backfiles to 1975 or further are available for well over one hundred journals, and searchable cited references are provided for more than 1,000 titles.
  • Business Source Complete - This is the industry's most popular business research database, features full text for more than 2,200 journals. Full text is provided back to 1965, and searchable cited references back to 1998.
  • Dissertations ProQuest - A ProQuest Database covers the most comprehensive collection of dissertations and theses. Full Text includes millions of searchable citations to dissertation and theses from around the world from 1861 to the present day that are available for download in PDF format.
  • Ebrary - A ProQuest database hosting e-books for libraries and researchers worldwide. Currently hosts 75,000 documents in the electronic formats.
  • Emerald - An established publisher with over 200 titles in the fields of management, information science and engineering.
  • GREENR - Global Reference on Environment, Energy and Natural Resources - This multidisciplinary database provides authoritative analysis, journals, news, case studies, legislations, conference proceedings, statistics and multimedia for issues related to energy systems, healthcare, agriculture, technology, climate change, population and more.
  • JSTOR - A digital archive of over one thousand academic journals and other scholarly content.
  • Oxford Reference Online - The biggest, most up-to-date, authoritative, accessible, editorially vetted reference work in the world, covers over 1.4 million facts and definitions, thousands of illustrations, maps, and links to other web resources.
  • Research Library - A ProQuest database, covering a wide range of popular academic subjects. Includes more than 4,730 titles, with over 3,315 in full text.
  • ScienceDirect - A leading full-text scientific database offering journal articles and book chapters from more than 2,500 peer-reviewed journals and more than 11,000 books.
  • SpringerLink - Contains more than 25,000 e-books and journals on various subjects.

  • Academic Search Complete - This database contains indexing and abstracts for more than 8,500 journals, provides full text for more than 4,600 journals, including full text for nearly 3,900 peer-reviewed titles.   • Art & Architecture Complete - It is the definitive research database for the study of art and architecture, providing 380 full-text periodicals and more than 220 books relevant to the subject, with full-text, cover-to-cover indexing and abstracts to academic journals, periodicals, magazines and trade publications books, selective coverage of Image Collection by Picture Desk on a wide variety of pertinent subjects, including antiques, art and art history, interior and landscape design.
  • ASCE - American Society of Civil Engineers - A comprehensive online tool for locating articles of interest across all disciplines of civil engineering, covering more than 86,000 full-text papers from ASCE Journals and Proceedings.
  • ASME - American Society of Mechanical Engineers - It covers all aspects of mechanical engineering, offering access to rich collection of electronic books, journals and full-text articles from ASME platform.
  • Britannica Encyclopaedia - An online encyclopedia with hundreds of thousands of articles, biographies, videos, images, and web sites.
  • Computers & Applied Sciences Complete - It covers the research and development of the computing and applied sciences disciplines, provides indexing for nearly 2,200 academic journals and full text for more than 1,000 periodicals. It includes engineering disciplines, computer theory & systems, new technologies, and social & professional context.
  • Dissertations ProQuest - A ProQuest Database covers the most comprehensive collection of dissertations and theses. Full Text includes millions of searchable citations to dissertation and theses from around the world from 1861 to the present day that are available for download in PDF format.
  • Ebrary - A ProQuest database hosting e-books for libraries and researchers worldwide. Currently hosts 75,000 documents in the electronic formats.
  • Environment Complete - This database contains more than 2.6 million records from more than 2,300 domestic and international titles for over 1,350 active core titles. It contains full text for 950 journals.   • GreenFILE - This multidisciplinary database provides indexing and abstracts for more than 612,000 records, as well as full text for more than 9,100 records.   • ERIC - This database provides extensive access to education-related literature. ERIC provides unlimited access to more than 1.4 million bibliographic records of journal articles and other education-related materials. It provides ready access to education literature to augment American education by increasing and facilitating the use of educational research and information to improve practice in learning, teaching, educational decision-making, and research.

  • MAS Ultra - School Edition - It is designed specifically for high school libraries, contains full text for nearly 500 full text popular high school magazines, more than 360 reference books, 85,670 biographies, over 107,000 primary source documents, over 592,000 photos, maps & flags, and color PDFs.
  • ProQuest Education Journals - A ProQuest database, which provides access for over 1,020 top educational publications, including more than 660 of the titles in full text. It includes charts, tables, diagrams, and other graphical elements to enhance the editorial value of articles that focus on education topics. It covers not only the literature on primary, secondary, and higher education but also special education, home schooling, adult education, and hundreds of related topics.
